About the Campground
Open June 5 to September 30. La Prele guard station sits in the midst of the site in the Rocky Mountains. Surrounded by steep, bouldered mountains and a variety of firs, it is a quiet escape from the daily grind. Hiking, fishing and other activities are close by with La Prele creek across the road and Twin Peaks trail just 2 miles north of the cabin. Campbell Creek campground is just 1/8 mile south and is easily accessible if your group is larger than the maximum 10 allowed. The campground has 8 campsites that can accomodate tents, campers and trailers of no more than 22 feet. Maid service not provided, please clean the cabin before leaving.

No pets allowed on the site. A firering is provided outside. No smoking allowed in the cabin. Bring your own food and bedding / towels - all else is provided. The combination will be included in your confirmation letter. Please call the district office at 307 358-4690 to confirm your combination.
