About the Campground
The North Marcum Day Use Area is nestled on the east bank of Rend Lake in Southern Illinois. It is located off IL Hwy 37 and is a short drive from Benton, Sesser, and Mt. Vernon, IL. It is also easily accessible from I-57. More information about Rend Lake is available at www.mvs.usace.army.mil/rend

Reservations must be made at least 2 days in advance.
No lifeguards, swim at your own risk.
The area is open from May 15 th through September 15th and group shelters are $25.
Day use fees are charged at the boat ramp.
