Alerts and Important Information
Sheepshead Mountain Recreation Area, a great place for weddings, receptions, family and other group picnics. You can reserve the pavilion from mid June through Labor Day. Sheepshead is an expanse of grassy meadows and sagebrush, with several streams and a small lake, all surrounded by lodgepole pine forest. The natural setting has been adapted with freatures and facilities which are accessible to almost everyone. Sheepshead pavilion has 8-10 large picnic tables in the pavilion with a grill. There is a fireplace with bbq spit behind the pavilion. There is a group fire ring just below the pavilion. It can accommodate approximately 80 people inside the pavilion. There are additional tables outside, some with built-in grills. Water is available at the pavilion. There is a volleyball court and horseshoes near the pavilion. The volunteer host has a net, but all other equipment must be proveided by the renter.
FEE NOTE:$50.00 for first 50 people plus $0.50 per person over 50 people.
