About the Campground
Short Mountain Cove Campground on Robert S. Kerr Lock and Dam and Reservoir offers 32 campsites with electric hookups. Other amenities include a trailer dump station, vault toilets, and a boat launching ramp. Kerr Reservoir is a 42,000 surface acre lake located on the Oklahoma portion of the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System that offers extensive opportunities for outdoor recreation. These activities include, but not limited to, hunting, fishing, boating, camping, picnicking, and swimming.

Alerts and Important Information
Reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance. 2 night minimum on weekends. 3 night minimum on holidays. The campground is open year round and the camping fee ranges from $10-$15/night. An attendant is on duty from April 01 through September 30. No Saturday reservation arrivals allowed on regular weekends. No Saturday or Sunday arrivals allowed on Holiday weekends.
