About the Campground
Silver Creek Campground is located in Idaho 35 miles north of Garden Valley. Elevation is 3800 ft. Silver Creek Campground is a small campground with 5 campsites. Units have parking and can accommodate small to medium RV's up to a length of 30 feet. All units have tables, grills and fire pits. One site offers a covered shelter over the table.
The area consists of high, forested mountains and steep valleys. The campground lies close to an experimental forest and a fire lookout. A nearby popular privately-developed hot springs resort offers swimming an other amenities. ATV use is popular in the area.
Fishing: The Idaho Department of Fish and Game manages the river fisheries. Fishing is good to excellent most of the year. Fishing occurs from the riverbanks. Whitefish and ranbow trout are the predominate species.
Hunting: Hunting in good to excellent during the legal season. Big game (deer, elk & bear) is located throughout the surrounding mountains.

Single sites can be used on a walk-in basis (no reservations for single sites) only if campground is not reserved for a fee of $12.00 per night for one vehicle and $5.00 for each additional vehicle.
