Back in the early '90s, Cabela's introduced their original MagTouch Rods. Even back then, we could see the trend in fishing rods was to reduce weight and get your hand in touch with the blank for even more sensitivity. Now, we're proud that technology and innovation have finally come together in the reintroduction of our new MagTouch Rods. The foundation for these rods is a 54 million-modulus omni-directional graphite blank that delivers all the sensitivity and durability expected by modern-day anglers. The new MagTouch skeletonized reel seat is lighter in weight and allows for more contact with the blank so every little tick and nibble can be felt. It also eliminates the fore grip, which increases the feeling sent to your hand during the slightest rod movement. Covered with soft-touch material, the reel seat provides a totally unique feel and all-day comfort for your hand. The multilayer graphite handle is durable, increases sensitivity and reduces the overall weight of the rod. That's accomplished through the multiple layers, starting with the hoop construction of the interior, then the linear liner, a graphite slit layer and finally, the woven graphite handle exterior. All work in conjunction to transmit movement to to the hand and reel. Fuji Alconite guides, with their concept spacing system, complete the package. Alconite is a bright black polished surface that's thinner with improved heat conductivity over other materials. They're even harder than Fuji's traditional Hardloy rings. We challenge you to fish with our MagTouch Rod and feel the difference it can make.
Model 66WJ For casting weightless plastics like Senkos on lighter 10- or 12-lb. line, or fishing Texas-rigged worms or football-type jigs, this model is right for the task.
Model 70SB This model excels at working spinnerbaits, spoons and crankbaits with midrange-sized monofilament line, with enough handle length for two-handed casting.
Model 76FS Not just another Flippin' Stick. We've lightened the tip of this rod to be more of a finesse tool for flipping, but still has enough midrange power to pull fish out of moderate cover. Great with superlines or 20-lb. monofilament.
