About the Campground

In the Endless Mountains region of north central Pennsylvania, the Ives Run Campground is on the shores of Hammond Lake of the Tioga-Hammond Lakes Project. The Tioga-Hammond Lakes Project consists of two separate dams and reservoirs on Tioga River and Crooked Creek. The pristine setting is attractive for camping, picnicking, swimming, boating, sailing, fishing, water-skiing, hiking, hunting, archery, and wildlife watching. Hot showers, playgrounds, public pay phones, rental mooring slips, and a dump station are available at the campground.

Alerts and Important Information Camping: Reservations must be made at least 2 days in advance - Family Sites. This campground requires a 2 night minimum stay on weekends. This campground requires a 3 night minimum stay on holidays. The campground is open April 20 - October 31. Attendant hours vary by season. Visitor hours are 8am-10pm. A visitor fee is charged. Campers are limited to 2 camping units per site, 1 of which must be a tent. No more than 7 people per site. This campground has first-come, first-served sites. Limited parking is available. Additional fees may be collected at the campground, which include: A fee of $3.00 for extra vehicles. A fee of $5.00 for voluntary site transfers after check in. You must be at least 18 years old to register for a campsite. Day Use: Reservations must be made at least 2 days in advance. Picnic shelter reservations are accepted for the period of May 1 - September 30. Your shelter reservation ends at sunset. Additional fees are collected on site for use of boat launching facilities. Your reservation provides exclusive use of the shelter for the entire day. Senior and Access discounts do not apply to group picnic facilities. Please be sure to bring your confirmation letter with you on the day of your reservation. Vehicles may not be driven to the shelters. Please check with a park ranger if you have a particular access problem. Operation of audio equipment in such a manner that it annoys or disturbs other visitors is prohibited. Dumpsters are provided near your shelter to dispose of refuse. Your group is responsible for keeping the area safe and clean during use and for policing the area of litter before departure.
