About the Campground
Laurel Branch Campground is located on Rough River Lake. From camping to picnicking to fishing, Rough River Lake has it all to offer. The area is a nature lover's paradise. Laurel Branch Campground offers 77 sites. Additional ammenities include a dump station, a playground, boat ramp and a nature trail.
Geography:
Rough River Lake lies within the "Clifty" area of the Pennyroyal Region of Kentucky.
Recreation:
A wide variety of recreational opportunities and facilities has been provided for visitor enjoyment by the Corps and the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

Alerts and Important Information
Reservations must be made at least 2 days in advance. This campground requires a 3 day minimum stay on holiday weekends.
The campground is open from March 26th to November 1st with Park Attendants on duty, at which time sites range from $14-$19/night. This campground continues to remain open all year using an honor vault system (from November 2nd thru March 24), at which time the sites range from $10-$13/night. The Park will then reopen with Park Attendants on duty March 25th, 2011.

Local option prohibits the use of alcohol. Off-road vehicles are not allowed.
