About the Campground
Lofers Bend Campground is on Whitney Lake. Whitney Lake is located in central Texas on the main branch of the Brazos River. Over two million people visit Whitney Lake each year to enjoy camping, fishing, boating, water skiing, hunting, sightseeing, and much more. Lofers Bend offers 68 campsites with water and electrical hookups. Additional amenities include 3 restrooms, a dump station, and a boat ramp. A large day use and group camp are also available.

Alerts and Important Information
Due to parking limitations only 3 vehicles will be allowed entrance to the park for each rented site. All additional vehicles associated with that campsite will not be allowed access inside the park and will be parked outside the main gate at the owner's expense. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, please carpool or make other arrangements to allow for this new policy."
Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance.
This campground requires a 2 night minimum stay on weekends.
This campground requires a 3 night minimum stay on holidays.
Campground is open all year and campsites are $10 - $16 a night.
The group camp is $105/night. Gates open at 6am and close at 10pm. There is a night exit that allows a person to exit the park after hours.
No ATVs or ORVs allowed.
