About the Campground
Mt. Pisgah Campground is located on the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway at Milepost 408. The beautiful Pisgah Inn is located across the road from the campground and offers lodging, restaurant, country store and laundromat. Camping supplies are available at the Inn's country store. The campground is near numerous hiking trails to some of the most beautiful scenery in Western North Carolina. Elevation at Mt.Pisgah is 4980 feet, so temperatures are usually moderate to cool during camping seasons. The campground is 26 miles from Waynesville,NC and 20 miles from Asheville, NC. Loops C & D are exclusively tent loops and no generators allowed.

Alerts and Important Information
Due to heavy rains, engineers have determined that a high risk of slides exists in the area of Milepost 399-401, en route to the Mt. Pisgah Campground (Milepost 408) from Asheville, NC, necessitating this emergency closure. The closure will be in place until early July.
To reach Mt. Pisgah Campground: For southbound traffic from the Asheville area, take NC Route 191, NC Route 280, and US Route 276 to the Parkway. For northbound traffic near the Mt. Pisgah area, take US Route 276, NC Route 280, and NC Route 191 to the Parkway.
Camping fee will be $19.00 per night.
There is no electricity/water/sewer site hookups at this campground.
Reservations are taken from May through October.
Comfort stations and dump stations are available.
Pets are allowed in Park. Pets must be on leash at all times.
Horses not allowed.
There is a 2 day reservation window.
21 consecutive days at a time.
All equipment must fit on the site pad.
Vehicles park in developed areas only.
Generator use is prohibited from 9:00pm-8:00am.
Due to black bear activity, food storage restrictions are in effect. All food items that may smell like food, utensils and coolers must be stored in vehicles or provided lockers. Garbage should be placed in litter cans as soon as possible.
Quarantine Notice: Firewood from states of Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Missouri, Ohio, Ontario, Pennsylvania, Quebec, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wisconsin can not be brought into the national park.
