About the Campground

Pine Meadows Campground is located on Cottage Grove Lake in Oregon's southern Willamette Valley. The campground is 6 miles from the city of Cottage Grove. The area offers a variety of recreational opportunities including fishing, boating, swimming, hiking, and numerous covered bridges. Located in the low foothills of the Calapooya Mountains, Pine Meadows is surrounded by a diverse mixture of marshland, coniferous forests, and grasslands.

Alerts and Important Information Effective January 1st, 2011 the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is implementing a ban on alcohol at Cottage Grove Lake and Pine Meadows Campground. Pine Meadows Campground will be open from May 21 - September 12, 2010. Once checked in, sites must be occupied. Reservations are not made at the park outside the booking window. Reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance. There is a 2 night minimum stay on weekends (Fri. & Sat.) and a 3 night minimum stay on holidays. The campground is the Fri. before Memorial weekend and closes the week after Labor Day and sites are $16/night. Camping fee covers only the camping unit (motorhome, trailer, pickup camper, or one vehicle with tents) and any towed vehicle that enters the park attached to the camping unit. A fee of $6 for extra vehicles will be collected at the campground. Maximum 1 RV and 2 tents or 3 tents per site. Maximum 8 people per site. Maximum 3 additional vehicles per site permitted in park. Sites 1-93 are family standard sites within the main campground. Sites A - O are primitive sites in Primitive Camground, a loop adjacent to Pine Meadows Campground with limited amenities available. The Primitive loop is open from May 28, 2010 - Sep. 5, 2010. There is no electricity, water or sewer site hook-ups at this campground. No livestock. No ATV's or ORV's allowed. Visitor hours end at 10pm. Posted health department warnings for consumption of fish from Cottage Grove Lake.
