CONIFEROUS FOREST AND RESERVOIR, WARM TO HOT DAYS, COOL NIGHTS VAULT TOILETS, PIPED DRINKING WATER, ALL ROADS PAVED, ON SITE HOST, HIKING, BICYCLING, FISHING, LAKE SWIMMING, NATURE STUDY Shirttail Creek Campground is located 15 miles from Foresthill at an elevation of 3700 feet. Set among manzanitas and Ponderosa pine on Sugar Pine Creek, this campground has 30 single sites. Days are warm to hot, and nights are cool. Campers come here to fish, canoe, hike, bike, swim, and boat on nearby Sugar Pine Reservoir.
