Defensive Specialties, LLC is a husband/wife team of NRA Training Counselors who train people of good repute in the safe use of firearms.  We teach all NRA classes open to the general public at both a Basic & Instructor level. NRA Classes include Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun, Muzzleloading, Home Firearm Safety, Personal Protection Inside/Outside the Home, Defensive Pistol, Refuse to be a Vicime®, First Steps Pistol/Rifle/Shotgun.Georgia Secretary of State's Board of Private Investigators and Security Agencies licensed Instructor for classroom and firearms. Get or renew your "Blue Card"  here.Safety is our top concern!Gunsmithing & Gun cleaning services are available.  Services include:  Deep cleaning; Refinishing of stocks; Repair & Cold Bluing of metal parts; Finding & installation of parts for older firearms; Modifications & additions to AR-15 platforms.Private lessons, including tactical, are available.  Female-only classes are available.We also teach emergency preparedness classes to help you ensure your family is protected in & prepared for times of trouble..Classes include: Small Space Gardening, How to decide whether to run in times of trouble, or stay put; What kinds of information to have at all times; Canning (Pressure & Water-bath), & Dehydrating.We include lunches (for most classes) & range fees.  Group/Family discounts are available.If you have a group, a classroom, & a range (for shooting classes), we'll be happy to come to you.
